1. Why should I use your service rather than opening up our own office?
a. If you decide to open your own small office, it will probably cost you around $25,000 USD,(for deposits, furniture, phones, legal set-up etc.). We already have all of this in place, so you save this set-up fee.

b. We already have staff experienced in dealing with North American clients, and we understand the requirements for production controls and shipping for your type of clients. If you hire your own staff, you’ll need to spend time and money training them, which is not easy.

c. You’ll experience all the problems and mistakes that new buying offices run into in Asia when dealing with factories. We already have many years of experience, so we don’t have a “learning curve” issue to overcome.

d. We already have many years of experience shipping for the following clients: Wal-Mart Canada, Wal-Mart USA, Sears, JCPenney, Dollar General, Dollar Tree, Costco Canada, Costco USA, and KB Toys, Discovery, May Corporation, Federated Corporation, QVC and many others. We know what these clients and many others expect when shipping out of Asia, and we have longstanding relationships with people in their Asian offices.

e. We have the right staff to handle your requirements (and if we identify a need for additional expertise, we’ll inform you straight away). If you open your own company, you’ll find that it’s very difficult to hire good staff who’ll stay with you for long periods of time, and it’s hard to manage them from overseas.

2. Are staff dedicated exclusively to my account?
Some of our clients prefer to have staff who are dedicated exclusively to their account, but of course this means the monthly fee is relatively higher. Normally, our staff work on multiple accounts, which keeps your service costs as low as possible, while still maintaining the best service possible. Of course confidentiality is assured.

3. If I want Tamco to set up a system for me, how long will it take?
That depends. We’ve set up some new clients in just one week, while for others it’s taken over a month. It really depends on the amount of work you want us to perform for you, and whether you need to establish a working Hong Kong company before our service starts.
